When I started in my recruiting position, my manager kept telling me, "Find that Peter Leffkowitz training info and maybe you can attend one of his seminars". Well, the last thing I wanted to do was sit in some stuffy classroom and hear this guy talk all day. The inevitable caught up with me one day and I am so glad it did! I was sent to Peter's first "3 Day New Rookie Start Up Training". This 3-day seminar turned out to be one of the best experiences in my career. I was in a group of nine other new recruiters who came from a diverse background both professionally and socially. We immediately begin to bond thru our stories and common threads. Day one began with a tractor ride into his ranch where we were welcomed with hot coffee and tasty breakfast treats. Then we took a short walk to the rustic log cabin where we would begin our journey. Peter began to teach us the basics of our business. We quickly learned that we made this more difficult by talking too much and not listening enough. This seminar is not for wimps. We role-played with Peter and with each other. We didn't move on to the next subject until everyone understood. Daily planning was something that we learned was a must for our own success. Peter taught us how to effectively communicate our position thru our 'Positioning Statement'. This was particularly crucial for me. It gave me a completely different look at how I should be presenting myself. I believe this will greatly increase my ability to build relationships with my candidates. Day two did not get any easier but it did challenge my mind to go to the next level. We again started out on the tractor for a scenic trail ride to the cabin. More good coffee and a treat and we were back at work. Today, we would learn how to source for those 'buried' candidates. This was challenging, but again, we talked thru it, we watched Peter, role-played and ultimately were able to pick up our cell phones and make our own sourcing calls. At that point, we moved on to learn the actual recruiting call. Part of this was done while sitting by a campfire watching the sun go down. It was a good time for all. Day 3, we drilled down on the detail of what we had learned around that campfire. Of course there was more role-playing and then a live recruiting call. We moved on to the "Innerview" which again, tremendously helped me to know how to get the right answers. It also gave me an outline to go by when interviewing so that I don't forget some crucial information. Amongst the in-depth training and recruiter to recruiter bonding, we ate some of the best food I'd ever had compliments of a few area restaurants and Peter's wife, Cindy. At the end of day 3, we all felt like we were leaving summer camp. Excited to go home but a little sad to end this journey. I left Kansas City motivated, educated and with a level of confidence that I didn't have when I arrived. I truly appreciate the hospitality and dedication that Peter and his family showed to us. I also thank my manager for giving me the opportunity to experience something so beneficial to me both personally and professionally. Melinda Dunaway Technisource

It was one of the best learning experiences of my professional career. I have been through other sales training courses, but Peter and Gina really know the industry and what works. The Morgan Method has been going very well for me since my return to work. I am looking forward to many successful years. Hopefully, you will all be reading about me in Fortune

Peter, Peter, Peter! You are the BOMB!! I'v been told that knowledge is power, and then I learned that its the application of that knowledge that empowers you! I have every intention of applying, reapplying, then applying again your tools of success. I applaud you and I also commend our leadership staff for seeing the value in your training, in me as an individual, and the group as a whole. Fuller Coral Springs, Florida   Kevin Garrett I think you missed an opportunity to have the North 40 mowed, as I felt I was just getting the hang of the tractor when we had to go back into class. On the Seminar: The materials were VERY helpful and I used the interviewing format right away with two mid-level candidates that were very similar on paper. When I used the techniques taught in class (a little rough on the first one) I gained so much more information than I would have if I used my old style. Don't usally say this about seminars, but wonderful time all around. All the best to you and your family, Kevin   Chuck Stover Dear Peter & Gina, Words cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for you both as a result of attending last weeks Rookie seminar at the Ranch. As a person new to the recruiting field and just starting a new business, I could not imagine trying to do this without first attending the Rookie seminar. I knew from the minute it started the this course was going to be time and money well spent. I can't wait to share the success stories that are in the near future as a result of taking this course. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the recruiting business - new or experienced! Peter, thank you for you hospitality. Not only did we learn a lot, but we had a blast doing it. Can't wait to return to the Ranch! Sincerely, Chuck Stover

How can so much hard work be so much fun? As a student of Peter Leffkowitz through videos and CDs for the last nine months, I was pleased to have the opportunity to attend a live seminar June 4,5,6th of this year. Gina Scott is an A+ trainer! She did a great job in keeping our rowdy band of recruiters focused on the Morgan Method techniques while making us feel a part of the process. Each of us had the opportunity to participate, ask questions and grow. Not only did we learn the secrets to success in this business, we had a great time doing it. The seminar was a gift, not only from my employer, but from everyone who participated in the process. An unexpected treat was the opportunity to socialize in a totally charming environment and make friends in the process. Thank you Peter, Cindy, Taylor, Isaac and Josie, for welcoming us into your home and sharing your lifestyle for a very special few days. A reunion for the marketing seminar is in order. What say you, June 4-6 graduates? Happy Trails, Judi Crenshaw

I just got home from the Tall Pony Ranch where I attended the new recruiter start-up 3 day training program. It was awesome. I returned to work with more tools in my tool belt than I had imagined. Peter's actual experiences shared from working in the recruiting, marketing, sourcing and executive search industry was valuable. In addition, his relaxed and informal presentation style provided an environment of comfort where all questions could be addressed. On a scale from 1 to 10 and 10 being the highest I would rank this experience as a "10". I am excited to have taken part in this training and thankful to my manager for providing the opportunity to me. Brenda M. 11-20-02

I also participated in Morgan Consulting Group's Start-up Training and was impressed with how fundamental the tools Peter and Gina provided us with. The simple use of linguistic tools, such as not setting yourself up for rejection by using words like "Can you.." was amazing. During the brief time we were able to spend sourcing (20 minutes or so) I was able to source 26 people, because of the methodology which was taught. This amongst many other insights made this experience valuable both as start-up training but also to better understand the whole picture of how a productive recruiting firm needs to operate. Thanks!!!!
