Scott Groth I recently attended the Client Comeback seminar in Detroit that the Morgan Consulting Group hosted. I had some reservations on the Innerview and if my candidates would actually open up to reveal personal information-- in particular referrals for other highly specialized candidates. This is my third day using this method and I have had an overwhelmingly positive response. I am now prepared to work on the POP marketing. The amount of interest and energy that this method has generated so far, both internally and externally, is fantastic. Peter, thanks so much for the change in perspective. Scott Groth
Pat Capanna Hi Peter: My sincere appreciation to you and your staff for the whirlwind Seminar on Marketing and Client Development in Chicago last week. This Seminar, combined with the 2-Day Management Clinic last month in Kansas City at your Tall Pony Ranch provided renewed and invigorating Chi!!! The topics covered are extremely relevant in this time of challenging searching for both clients and qualified candidates. We have discussed already the implementation of various items from the Seminar. Especially exciting were two items: the topic of Premeditated Client Development and the four styles of Marketing - definitely will add to the challenge in our office in this economy. Pete, it was time well spent to glean some of your knowledge! Also, I very much enjoyed spending time with you again. Your energy goes without saying!! Thanks, again. Tell Cindy hello! Pat Capanna
John Nimesheim Let me first just say thank you to Peter for encouraging me to participate in his training seminar. I was slightly reluctant because I work for a retained executive search firm and from what I have heard from other recent participants , Peter’s training methodologies may be more appropriate for the contract and contingency world. However, after completing the two day session, I now realize that the methodologies of Peter’s training will be extremely useful in my career moving forward in retained search. Whether you work in retained, contingent, or contract, we all have the same goal in mind…building strong relationships with both candidates and clients in order to continually progress in our careers. Peter mentioned in the first day of our training that 90% of the material covered would be useful to my daily activity (retained). The 10% that was not appropriate revolved around candidate marketing, which is not a common practice in retained search. However, several of the ideas and concepts behind candidate marketing can certainly be applied. Overall, the methodologies of pull selling, Chi, innerview, 4 trade-offs with a candidate, the depth of picking up the job order, and the process of slaying the white elephant will be extremely for me. I would strongly recommend my cohorts in the retained community to participate in Peter’s training. In our current economic conditions, we need all the assistance we can to build our business.
Albert Dettore Being a Program Chair and providing quality programs for 80 plus member firm association is a weighty job. Well got to tell you Gina Scott is the “Real Deal”. I have seen and heard them all in my 20 plus years and she is “World Class”. First and foremost she knows the Morgan Methodology cold. She is an excellent presenter. Clear crisp voice, great diction, great sense of humor, relates to the audience and can work a room. The 50-member audience ranged from recruiters with 1 day to 20 plus years of experience. They had more than their fair share of tough questions during the 2 days, which Gina confidently and competently answered. All felt the seminar was great. I read the reviews. Let me tell you in Philadelphia if you suck, as a presenter the group has no problem in leaving early and "voting you off the island". I know, I’ve seen it happen. Some of the high lights for the group were POP Marketing and Time Management. The two days were spent on Recruiting with a bonus of taking a Morgan Job Order at the end. This endorsement comes with great sincerity. If you are not sure about having her as a in house trainer or speaker or going to an event, call me, I will here you out and tell you what it meant to our group, 215 369 8000 Ext. 23, adettore@ProgressiveSearch.net. This is also an unsolicited endorsement. Regards Grateful VP and Program Chair MAAPC Al Dettore
