“Delivery: It’s so refreshing to be spoken to rather than lectured at. It’s a style thing which Peter nailed early on in his career. The camera angle, the setting, it all made the experience seem one-on-one and personal. Like speaking with Yoda if I may draw that analogy. He’s just so relatable. It looks like he was not using notes and yet he never stumbled or forgot what was next. He was clam. Peter successfully delivered new knowledge to me and updated what I’d learned from him ages ago. The opening slide show was brilliant! It got you in the mode to have fun and learn. (Probably a pretty good sales tool as well – I digress.)
Content: Refreshing. Simple. Effective. Peter has a way of approaching the ‘words’ we use that is unlike any other trainer in this business and frankly that I’ve met/used elsewhere. He seems to be continually thinking about what how the client “feels” is able to relate those feelings back to the process. This enables him to sync up quickly as a ‘partner’ with the client and he does it all by listening and relating – more importantly he shows us how to do it and explains ‘why’. This is a key differentiator with him and a reason I’ve referred so many people to his materials. And I’ll keep doing that. His material is current and his stories are relatable and tie back nicely to the lesson.
Intent/Attitude: Peter comes off as genuinely interested in our well-being and success. And it’s genuine. He’s always come off that way for me and I have a well-honed BS detector. For me at least, it’s easier to learn and accept new ideas when your guard is down because you actually “feel” like he’s on your side. Clearly understands the client/recruiter dynamic and is able to deliver solutions (like his intake method) that clearly sympathize with the client issues with using recruiters, without throwing it in their face or encouraging the recruiter to act in a superior manner. His methods help build the partnership dynamic needed between client and recruiter to be successful.
Organization: The three sessions where nicely segmented. The material was well organized and delivered methodically and without notes.”
