"If a trainer doesn't have the confidence to use a live speaker phone to demonstrate the script they encouraged you to use...walk. Words without stones are meaningless."

“You made my team feel like you had been sitting next to them, feeling their frustrations for months. Then, you shaped their individual solutions. They loved that.”

- Eytan Ishai, Foxwood Search

Q: “What makes this private relationship and outcome different from the less expensive, live multi-company PUBLIC workshops?”

A: 3 Ingredients.
The customization of the lesson plan is created by three withdrawals of information.

1.) Peter holds an “Owner Perceptions” management con-calll zoom meeting discussing:

  • Owners financial goals
  • What needs to be added or subtracted to achieve those goals
  • Perceived team flaws and strengths
  • Internal and external resources/tools currently in use
  • Thoughts on work ethic and staff compliance to suggestions
  • Individual staff assessments
  • Potential exit plans

2.) Owner receives, completes, and returns the “Reality vs Perceptions” Questionnaire, which is divided into three components:

  • The Rhythm Section: Using whatever ATS/CRM or spreadsheet system, an Owner will try to collect data on their last business quarter’s amount of fresh, new Candidates screened, fresh new Job Order/Searches written, # of Submittals and 1st Sendouts Only (Client/Candidate Interviews) for the company and then those numbers are divided by the number of desks. This establishes the “reality” of a team's physical tempo of activity.

The Quality of Activity Section: The questionnaire then provides simple math formulas which divide those applicable activity levels into how many candidates were placed and how many Job Order/Searches were filled. This produces ratios with 1:1 ratios being quality-perfection and anything in double digits, sucking enthusiasm out of staff and profitability out of an Owner’s P&L. Combining these 2 sections enables Peter to construct a lesson plan that affects the most prominent factors inhibiting growth. (However, the next section tells him how to style his method of training.)

3.) Collecting Actual Examples of Individual’s Work: Peter’s evaluation of participant’s recent candidate write-ups and recent Job/Search Intakes (be it: scratch notes in the margins of a resume or HR’s Job (non) Description, or a form management “suggests” be completed, free styling on a legal pad or paraphrased summaries in the ATS), will actually determine the distance from the baseline he sees to where the finish line needs to be.

Most importantly, this sets the tone of delivery for Peter. (Gentleness or intensity, role plays or live exercises, and certainly the level of credibility needed for Peter to do live phone demonstrations with companies and numbers provided by staff).

Outcomes: It’s a cash flow decision, not an ROI question: Morgan Private Clients experience minimum per desk activity growth of 30% and up to 100% growth in top line per desk billings.

Please Be Aware: staff losses can be incurred after training. When an owner has proven that newly presented techniques are producing higher billings…an owner's expectations can change and as we know, not all staff adjust well to change.

Post Training Follow-up: Owners are provided 3, two-hour Lunch & Learn downloads of the Morgan Management Model that Peter encourages. (Where to Find and How-to Hire Recruiters, the Morgan Trilogy Comp Plan, Setting Activity Standards, Holding Staff Accountable and The Management Ladder-Up: the Owner Ladder Out)
